Majbrit Holm Jakobsen is Chargé d’Affaires of the Royal Danish Embassy in Kampala, where she has been employed since 2013. She is leading the implementation of the new Danish Country Program (2018-2022) which focuses on enhancing inclusive economic and political development. Ms. Jakobsen holds a master degree in Political Science and Governance from Aarhus University in Denmark. Ms. Jakobsen has previously been posted to the Danish Embassy in Zambia, worked as an advocacy adviser for a large NGO in Tanzania and was Head of the Section for West Africa in the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
