Santiago Fiorio Vaesken is a Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law Officer at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Paraguay and a delegate to the United Nations Human Rights Council (HRC). He administers the SIMORE System in Paraguay, an online public database that systematizes international human rights recommendations and informs on their implementation. He has studied and drafted recommendations to States under the Universal Periodic Review. Mr. Fiorio is also a member of the core group for drafting national implementation law of the Rome Statute and a member of the National Commission for Refugees. Finally, he is in charge of several subjects at universities in Asunción, Paraguay.
