Sabrina Büchler is Programme Manager of the Task Force Dealing with the Past and Prevention of Atrocities of the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs and represents Switzerland in the GAAMAC Steering Group. For the past 14 years, Ms. Büchler has been working in human rights, humanitarian affairs and conflict transformation. She joined the Human Security Division of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs in 2012; first with the Human Rights Policy Section and since 2014 in the above-mentioned position. Previously, she was based in Georgia and at headquarters in Strasbourg (France) as Adviser to the Council of Europe’s Commissioner for Human Rights. She also worked for the UN High Commissioner for Refugees and for the Swiss Section of Amnesty International. She graduated in International Relations in Geneva.
