Kirunda Kivejinja Ugandan politician and current Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Internal Affairs (Home Affairs Minister) of the government of the Republic of Uganda since June 2016. Previously, he has served as the Minister for Relief and Social Rehabilitation, Internal Affairs and as Deputy Prime Minister of Uganda. He obtained a Bachelor of Science (Honours) Degree in Zoology at Delhi University on a Government of India scholarship. Kivejinja is the author of Uganda: The Crisis of Confidence, a book about Uganda's political history.
