Angela Bruce-Raeburn is a program officer at the Stanley Foundation, overseeing its human protection programming focused on preventing genocide and mass atrocities. Prior to 2013, she was the Senior Policy Advisor for Humanitarian Response in Haiti at Oxfam America. As a Rotary International Peace Fellow, she gained applied field experience as a foreign relations intern at the Caribbean Community Secretariat (CARICOM) in Georgetown, Guyana. Working for the former Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) Chairperson, Congresswoman Carolyn Cheeks Kilpatrick from Michigan, she focused on human trafficking and modern day slavery.
